Dr. Molly Barrow to Appear at Educator Appreciation Week Kick-Off at Barnes and Noble

Dr. Molly Barrow, the author of Malia & Teacup, Awesome African Adventure, has been invited to speak and sign her new book, Saturday October 10, 2009 to celebrate Education Appreciation Week at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Ft. Myers, Florida. Saturday is the kick off day for the week that celebrates the contribution teachers and educators make every day. Dr. Barrow will be discussing the importance of self esteem building for children. In her exciting, adventure book about a young girl who on her journey of self discovery faces many challenges, experiences many self esteem building lessons. Embedded throughout the book, designed for ages 9 and up, are important self worth messages that will help keep kids safe from predators, bullies and abuse. Dr. Barrow believes that self esteem is the single most important factor for a child's safety. High self esteem is psychological armor for children.
