A new concept for partnerships between books publishers and authors and major corporations is being explored by Barringer Publishing and Dr. Molly Barrow's new book series, Malia & Teacup. The books are fun, adventure tales, and are embedded with self esteem building messages to help keep children safe from bullies, predators and abuse. There are important lessons every child, ages 7-13 needs to know. With the help of a corporate giant, the message can get out faster, and much wider than through more customary channels. Most large corporations are big givers, especially to causes that benefit children that have suffered from disabilities or injury. Dr. Barrow says that low self esteem in children is a disability as well. We all know about McDonald's wonderful Ronald McDonald House, but they are not the only corporation helping children. For example CVS Caremark, has raised millions to help disadvantaged children with their All Kids Can project, and Publix Supermarkets have contributed many millions to various community charities. Most corporations give back to the community. Corporations can get involved with a single author and her books that do help kids in a very big way, by promoting and displaying the books in a special display. Proceeds can go to the charity of choice, but best of all, the children who read the books will benefit greatly by building their own self esteem and self worth.
