An elementary educator for 34 years, Lynne Nolan, M.Ed., loves that Dr. Molly Barrow's new children's adventure book, Malia & Teacup - Awesome African Adventure is not just an action packed books for ages 9 and up, but also a learning tool for children. "This book deals with many relevant topics that children are dealing with today - keeping safe in dangerous situations, building self esteem, dealing with split families, fighting for a good cause and making good decisions," states Nolan. Nolan added that teachers can utilize the book to lead to great discussions, role playing and writing assignments. She feels Dr. Barrow will get her messages through and at the same time children will enjoy "a fast pace ride as you follow Malia from her home life with her wacky grandfather to her close calls in Africa with Teacup, her tiny dog. Will they make it safely home? Check out this book to find the answer."
