Barringer Publishing Joins IBPA - Independent Book Publishers Association

Barringer Publishing has joined IBPA, formerly PMA, a trade association of independent publishers. Founded in 1983, the Independent Book Publishers Association services international book, audio and video publishers. With over 4,000 members around the world IBPA provides a number of marketing programs, education and advocacy within the publishing industry. 

This fall Barringer Publishing will be represented at four national bookseller shows, by IBPA. The title selected is Dr. Molly Barrow's Malia & Teacup - Awesome African Adventure. It is the fun, adventure book for ages 9 and up, that cleverly embeds self esteem building messages, the most important factor in a child's safety. The four shows are as follows: Mountains and Plains Booksellers Association, 9/24-9/26 , at Crowne Plaza Hotel at Denver International Airport - Midwest Booksellers Association, 9/26, at Roy Wilkins Auditorium at RiverCentre in St. Paul, MN - New England Independent Booksellers Association, 10/2-10/3, Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT - Northern California Booksellers Association. 10/9-10/10, Oakland Convention Center, Oakland California. These shows are attended by booksellers, librarians, specialty stores and other book buyers.
